I’m Nevada Halbert, a senior strategic adviser working at the intersection of government, Indigenous interests and international engagement.

My experience spans ministerial and parliamentary advisory roles, Māori–Crown policy, programme leadership and independent consultancy. I am Programme and Secretariat Lead at Te Puni Kōkiri.

Through NH Consulting, I help organisations understand complex decisions, develop practical responses and build relationships that support their objectives.

Building on this experience, I am developing a practice in Indigenous economic diplomacy, trade and cultural diplomacy, with respect for the authority of Indigenous peoples to determine their own priorities.
